Learn how the process of publishing a Web Story works:

1. How to publish your Story

To publish the Story open the Story in the editor. Then click on the Publish button in the upper right corner and select to Publish as web Story. Now you can choose the domain your Story should be published on. It will be published by default on the domain of Zazu but you can add your domain in settings and find it listed in the URL drop-down menu.

2. Add tags to your Story

You can easily apply tags by manually typing them in the Tags field, or by selecting existing ones. If you Story contains tags, it will be automatically added to the Carousels which contain the same tags when you publish it.

3. Enrich a Web Story with SEO-relevant data

Web Stories appear on the web and are websites themselves with their own link. This means they are SEO-relevant and can include important keywords. You can add more information to a Story with the following fields:

Title: give your Web Story a meaningful title. The title will appear as the Google search headline of your Story
SEO description: enter a small paragraph to describe your Story content. This is relevant for the keywords that google fetches. It wont appear in the search results but rather when you share the link as a preview

⚠️ Caution: If you don't add this data your Web Story will be ranked lower and will be more difficult to find for your audience

4. Set the Poster images

The Story preview on Google's Story discover or the link preview can be edited in the Poster image preview section. Your first artboard is the default poster image and can be changed by clicking on any of the three poster preview images. So you can either keep the default poster image and adjust the crop to optimize for each format or change the poster image to a custom one by clicking on the Upload Image button.

Save your poster image to apply your changes and continue the publishing process.

5. Show your Story on the web

The final step is to click on the Publish Story button. Your Web Story is now live on Zazu's or your company's domain and you can use it on your website with the link or embed code.

💡 Tip: Use the Zazu Carousel to best present your Stories on your website
